Quick High-Protein Oats
We’ve all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but most of us just don’t have time (or motivation) to cook up a gourmet meal and sit down to enjoy it in the mornings. Getting in an early morning workout and preparing for the day often leads us to prioritise convenience over nutrition. But good news - you can get the best of both worlds! These protein oats are not only tasty, but they’re also quick, super easy, and the perfect fuel to kickstart your day. Ingredients 60g quick oats ½ scoop CMBT Reload (Vanilla) ¼ tsp cinnamon 100g natural or coconut yoghurt Mixed berries Nuts Method This recipe is delicious hot or cold. Follow the steps below for the cold version - perfect for a refreshing summer breakfast!
  1. Combine CMBT Reload and cinnamon in 200 - 300 mL of water and stir.
  2. Pour the oats into a bowl and gradually add in the protein mixture, stirring through until the consistency is thick.
  3. Set aside the mixture for 5 minutes to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.
  4. Top with mixed berries, yoghurt and nuts.
For hot protein oats, simply pour the protein mixture into a pot over moderate heat and add in the oats. Stir until it reaches a thick, porridge-like consistency and then pour into a bowl. Serve with berries, yoghurt and nuts. And voila! A quick, easy, tasty breakfast that you can have all year round!
